American Association of University Women  AAUW Education Foundation is one of the largest private foundations serving the educational aspirations of women and girls. 

American Chemical Society  ACS Scholars Program awards support for high school students pursuing a degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, or  chemical technology.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society  AISES’s offers three separate scholarship opportunities for students entering or continuing in college. 

ASPIRA  ASPIRA offers a extensive online scholarship guide specifically focused on financial support for Latinos and other minority individuals.

Bayer/NSF Award for Community Involvement Teams of students identify a problem in their community, come up with a solution and compete to win the funds to implement their innovation.

FastWeb  Searchable online database of over $1 billion in scholarships and financial aid opportunities.

Hispanic Heritage Awards Foundation  Latino/Chicano high school seniors from 12 U.S. cities can apply for $1,000 - $2,000 scholarships.

National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering  “NACME offers a variety of scholarships, fellowships, awards and prizes for high school and engineering students. Since 1980, nearly ten percent of all minority engineers graduated from college with NACME scholarships.”

National Association of Black School Educators  NABSE provides support, resources and scholarships for eligible students pursuing careers in education.

The National Semiconductor Internet Innovator Award:  National Semiconductor is rewarding and recognizing teachers who use the Internet in innovative ways in the classroom.

National Science Teachers Association  NSTA’s “Awards and Competitions” page provides details on the over $1 million dollars that go to teachers and students annually through funding by NSTA and its partners.

Texas Instruments  T3 Program offers links to grant writing and scholarship opportunities for educators.  

Think Quest  Students from grades 4-12 form teams with participants from around the world to create informational websites. Students compete for scholarship awards and to have their website hosted online by Think Quest. Competitions for teachers-in-training are also available.

Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision Awards Program   Annual competition invites K-12 students to envision a technology twenty years into the future. Prizes include $10,000 and $5,000 U.S. Savings Bonds, laptop computers and more.

Winds of Change: College Guide for Native Americans  Published annually the Guide provides data on colleges, financial aid information, college application support and writing by successful college students.
